Family run since 1996. What began as a sand and gravel merchant on a working dairy farm in rural Essex is now one of East Anglia's leading suppliers to the construction and building trades. Still independently owned, still with the original founders at the helm, and now operating from five branches with two recycling plants and a dedicated transport logistics centre.

OUR STORY

1996 Founded at Devereux Farm
Silverton Aggregates was founded as a sand and gravel merchant at Devereux Farm, Kirby-le-Soken, then an operational dairy farm in rural Essex. From extremely humble beginnings, this small family business thrived.
2014 Silverton Builders' Merchants established
In response to substantial customer demand, Silverton Builders' Merchants was established. A high-calibre sales team, bringing together a wealth of knowledge and experience, joined the company. Their mission: to ensure that customers, regardless of project size, receive top-quality products at the best prices.
Today Five branches across East Anglia
Still independently owned with the original founders at the helm, Silverton now operates five branches across the region, recycling plants in Colchester and Braintree, and a transport logistics centre on Telford Road, Clacton-on-Sea.
